Transient Heat Conduction Problem Solution for a Fire Hazard Analysis

Yevgeniy V. Nikitin

The Nachimov Naval Institute Sevastopol, Ukraine 99031

In case of an impulsive external thermal effect (that is consistent with a real possible fire), analytical solution of a transient heat conduction prob lem for the body with protuberant geometry was developed. It was shown that the Laplace transformation method is acceptable for such a solution if a trans mission function of the body uses at least three initial coefficients. Corre sponding formulas for calculating unsteady temperatures within the body and estimating the error were created.
